Another Chick-fila-A could be coming soon to Abilene. That's the word on the street, anyway...As soon as Java City announced it would be closing its doors later this month, people started tweeting and e-mailing us about the possibility of Chick-fil-A taking over the property.
A Chick-fila-A big wig in town, who we'll keep nameless for now, said there's nothing to report quite yet.
While it may not be a done deal, it's certainly the rumor swirling around town....
For those of you who experience the chaos that is the Southwest Drive Chick-fila-A drive-thru around lunchtime, you'll probably join me in saying: we welcome a new location!
